Esta PRIMAVERA/VERANO el color nos invade por completo, y la verdad tenía que hacerle un post a Jil Sander, porque me gustó mucho su paleta de color para esta temporada. Estas fotos las saque de una de las tantas revistas que veo al mes, me gusta mucho el contraste del color con el fondo blanco, muy minimal.

Hice una pequeña interpretación propia con los colores y algunos diseños, espero que les gusten.

My Little Piece of Heaven

Siempre me resultó difícil el diseño de interiores, no es lo mismo que la moda, el hecho de tener una habitación vacía y luego llenarla de muebles, y que aun quede espacio suficiente para moverse por la habitación me resultaba difícil de asimilar, creo que tener una visión 3D es muy importante en este caso.

Bueno, los retos siempre son muy interesantes, y tuve la oportunidad de hacer lo que quería con mi nueva habitación, y estoy encantada de presentarles el resultado.

Tengo que decir, que en este caso, si salió exacto a como quería.

El blanco, es lo que más predomina, porque quería un sitio en el que me sintiera relajada, con pocas distracciones, y que solo hubiera una atmosfera de pulcritud y orden. Creo, que hacer una habitación toda blanca puede crear la sensación de vacío, pero si utilizas muchas texturas en el mismo color, se enriquece mucho más, y lo hace más cálido.

La pared de ladrillo, siempre fue algo que envidié de los lofts neoyorquinos.

La mesa de noche de la izquierda, la pinté nuevamente, originalmente era muy amarilla y tenía flores, que para mi gusto ya era demasiado...

El cabecero, me parece una parte muy esencial, lo mande hacer tal cual lo quería, con botonadura, y en forma de rombo, que es como más me gusta.

El espejo, me encanta, le da un toque muy orgánico a la habitación.

La ropa de cama es de Zara Home, me gusta mucho su selección, la encuentro realmente inspiradora.

Bueno, y ahora que tengo todo listo en mi habitación... me vine a vivir a Londres... pero no importa porque sé que My Little piece of Heaven will be wating for me to go home.

I have to say, I never like red, I think is not just a color, is like when people are cat persons or not, you just know that you belong to a team.

It is a very powerfull color, and the few times I had wear it, make me feel unconfortable, is not that I do not like the color, is that for me to wear it is too much.

So I been thinking of red , because these leather pants, and I have to say they look amazing!, specially with the nude color, more than black.

Tengo que decir, el rojo es un color, que nunca me gustó. He intentado comprarme cosas, pero simplemente me cansa muy rápido. Creo que es más que un color, va con la personalidad de las personas, es como cuando a la gente le gusta o no los gatos, perteneces a un equipo.

Hoy no aguantaba el frío aquí en Londres, y me puse a pesar en esos sombreros rusos tan espectaculares que salían en Doctor Zhivago. La verdad se ven muchos por la calle, y no sobran con el frío que hace, así que me puse a investigar, y creo que optaré por uno de Toshop. Los vintage que vi por Brick lane, eran muy bonitos, pero eso de ponerme algo en la cabeza que otro usó antes, no va conmigo...

Coney Island, is such a Bizzare place to go, between, the very old amusing park and weirdos next to the beach.

It is a place to enjoy,the decadent atmosphere can be sometimes very inspiring.

El otro día, Viendo algunas de mis fotos, me encontré con estas de Coney Island, y se me había olvidado lo mucho que me gustan.

Coney Island es un lugar para visitar, el ambiente decadente puede ser a veces muy inspirador.

Sketchbook at Central Saint Martins

Como dije en el post anterior, esteré actualizando desde Londres. Una de las razones por las cuales estoy aquí, es porque siempre me apeteció estudiar en Central Saint Martins, escuela dónde estudiaron diseñadores que tanto admiro como Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney, John Galliano.

Estoy haciendo un pequeño curso de dibujo, y la verdad tengo que reconocer que está siendo increiblemente bueno, así que si tenían dudas, lo recomiendo completamente.

Aquí les dejo algunos dibujos que quería compartir con ustedes.

As I said in my previous post I´ll be updating from London. One of the reason that I am here, Is because I allways wanted to study at Central Saint Martins. Where many designers that I admire had studied there, like Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney, John Galliano.

I'm doing a little drawing course, and I have to admit that is being incredibly well, so if you have doubts, I totaly recommend it.

Brick Lane , lugar donde siempre se encuentra algo de inspiración...

Andando por Brick Lane nos encontramos a esta chica buscando piezas vintage y la verdad me gustó mucho su look, por lo que no dudé en hacerle la foto. lleva un maxi jersey gris, un básico esta temporada, y la forma en que lo combina con medias negras transparentes hace que sea muy sexy pero a la vez ambiguo por su corte de pelo y lo holgado del jersey. El cuello de la camisa, cerrado hasta arriba, es algo que hemos visto mucho esta temporada, y que equilibra muy bien su conjunto. En definitiva, me encanta el look y lo veo muy llevadero para el día a día. Me lo pondría seguro.

Walking down Brick lane, we found this girl looking for vintage pieces, and I just love her outfit. The gray baggy jersey is a basic this season, very confortable, and with the transparent tights looks amazing!. I would definitely wear it for the day to day.

Los accesorios para la cabeza, cada vez pisan mas fuerte, pero sin duda el más exitoso son los pañuelos con forma de lazo como el que lleva esta chica.

Head accesories are very strong this season, specially silk type, I love how she wear it.

Piedras, siempre me sentí atraída a ellas, no solo por lo bonitas que son, si no por el lado místico que tienen.

Stones, I was always attracted to them, not only for how beautiful they are, if not the mystic side they have.

Me gusta mucho la combinación de las perlas en las mangas de la camiseta, le da un toque mas formal.

I love the combination of the pearls on the sleeves of the shirt.

El colgante del niño es muy simpático.

Para este otoño/invierno aún podemos seguir sacándole partido a nuestras piezas militares del invierno pasado. Lo que si es verdad, es que se incorpora el borreguito para hacer de este look militar algo mas invernal.

Mas leopardo para este invierno, cobra protagonismo en los accesorios, la verdad a mi ya me cansa un poco, quizás es porque el invierno pasado no me separé de mi abrigo de leopardo, pero ese bolso de Mulberry no me cansaría nada tenerlo.

More Leopard for this Winter, only that now takes place on the accessories. I am a bit tired of it, maybe it´s because last winter I was all the time with my leopard coat, but let´s just say that I wouldn´t mind having this Mulberry bag.

Siguiendo con las tendencias para este Otoño/ Invierno, podemos ver que el Camel está invadiéndonos, sobretodo el total look, pero si vamos un poco más allá podemos ver que se está mezclando mucho con el gris, cosa que es inusual, pero la verdad para mi tiene un buen resultado.

Qué pensáis, os gusta?.

Following the trends for this Autumn / Winter, we can see that Camel is invading us , especially the total look, but if we go a little further we can see that is getting mix with gray, which is unusual, but the truth is that I kind of liket it.

Ya nos queda poco de verano y es hora de plantearse que nos pondremos este Otoño.
Aquí les propongo qué usar del iniverno pasado, qué comprar y sobretodo como llevarlo.

Fall is almost here, and it is time that we consider what to wear and most important How.

Un vestido lencero, estas son mis cuatro opciones favoritas, la verdad es que no puedo elegir solo una de las cuatro. Cómo llevarlo?, con un maxi jersey, este de Marc Jacobs es muy particular con el acabado "sucio".

A lingerie dress, these are my favorite options, I can´t not choose just one. How to wear it? with a maxi jersey, this one from Marc Jacobs is very particular, looks like "dirty".

Gris, gris y mas gris, este color se apodera de la temporada junto con el camel.

Cómo llevarlo?, un total look es una buena opción.

Gray, gray and more gray. This color is the King of the season, and Camel the Queen.

How to wear it? a total look is a great option.

Cazadoras tipo biker aún se siguen llevando, pero el cuero se va apoderando de faldas y shorts.

Cómo llevarlo? muy minimal, nada recargado.

Biker Jackets are still during this season, but now the leather is taking place in shorts and skirts.

Nueva York, es una ciudad tan especial, que no me canso de decirlo.

La gente es muy comunicativa, si llevas algo puesto que les gusta, no dudan en hacertelo saber, si miras en el mapa, te ofrecen ayuda, incluso hasta te pueden llegar a invitar a salir de la nada.

La arquitectura, es increible, no hay una zona o un edificio que no me guste, porque todos tienen un encanto para mi. Bueno, y en cuanto a la moda... no tengo palabras...

Joggers everywhere! Si lo sé, hay muchos a los que no les gusta esta tendencia, pero particularmente creo que es estupenda, tanto para verano con unas sandalias, como nos propone Marc Jacobs, o en invierno como Gautier con cowboy boots.

Creo que la propuesta de Philip Lim es tentadora, sobretodo para esos días que quieres ir cómoda sin pensarlo mucho. La de Stella es bastante aceptable, con unos tacones , camisa y chaqueta, mucho mas formal, pero a la vez comodísima.

Y tu que piensas? Te los pondrías?.

Por cierto, no es solo para chicas, los chicos estan mas que bienvenidos a esta propuesta !

Joggers everywhere! I know there are many who doesn´t like this trend, but particularly I think it's great! you can wear it with sandals as Marc Jacobs offers, or in winter as Gautier with cowboy boots.

I think Philip Lim's proposal is tempting, especially for those days you want to go comfortable without thinking to much . The one from Stella is quite acceptable, with heels, shirt and jacket, more formal, but very comfortable.

Not just for girls!, boys are more than welcome to this trend.

Ultimamente andamos obsesionadas con este tipo de bolso. El corte es perfecto: tan simple y tan bien estructurado a la vez.
